As much as we look forward to Halloween every year, aspects of the holiday it can scare your dog. And can we blame them? To help local pups prepare for Halloween, a dog training center in Littleton, Colorado hosted a dog-friendly haunted house.

Dog training elitea dog training center in Littleton, Colorado, invited local dogs from the Denver area to their facility last Sunday, October 27, to attend the Pawnted House event designed to help desensitize dogs to some of the sights and sounds that accompany Halloween.

In addition to desensitization training, Pawnted House also gave the dogs several opportunities to practice common skills such as reach as they made their way through the attraction.
The Hood family really appreciated the opportunity to show off their newly adopted dog on Halloween in the controlled environment of the Pawn Shop. The Hoods adopted Charlie earlier this fall and noticed that he didn’t like his evening walks.
“We’ve noticed when we go for walks later in the day, he gets a little scared because of all the critters and the noise,” Michelle Hood said. Denver 7.

But Charlie did a great job as the brave in the Pawn Shop and even wore a colorful spider costume. What a good boy!
Pawnted House was able to host dozens of dogs on Sunday and only charged $5 for admission, which will be donated Foundation, every percentage is important. Every percentage is important in pairs service dogs trained in working with smell in people who have chronic health conditions.
Even if you and your dog missed the Pawnted House, it’s a good idea to make sure your pups are ready for Halloween.
Dogs that are socialized and i know basic commands such as “Leave It” and “Go to (Place)” are better suited to the noise that Halloween brings, especially during trick-or-treating hours.
